Saint Mary Magdalene
Feast day: July 22
Patron of repentant sinners, women, and contemplatives
Life
From whom Christ cast out seven devils, Mary Magdalene became His faithful follower — present at the Cross when others fled, and the first witness of the Resurrection at the empty tomb. 'Go to my brethren,' the risen Lord sent her, making her the bearer of the Good News to the Twelve.
Prayer
Saint Mary Magdalene, pray that our love for Christ may be as steadfast as yours, and that we too may find joy at His empty tomb. Amen.
